9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Green Iguana Conservation Project Visit the San Ignacio Resort Hotel to witness the conservation efforts for the threatened Green Iguana. Learn about the incubation, hatching, rearing, and releasing process of this fascinating species. The project aims to raise funds through the Adopt an Iguana Program and provides scholarships for local children.
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Ajaw Chocolate Making Tour Experience traditional Mayan chocolate-making at Ajaw Chocolate. Participate in a full-hour session of stone grinding organic cacao beans, mixing the paste into a chocolate drink, and adding spices, just like the ancient Maya consumed.
